Höherer Mindestlohn ab 2019

Ab 2019 beträgt der gesetzliche Mindestlohn 9,19 Euro pro Stunde - eine Erhöhung um 35 Cent.

Seit Anfang 2015 gibt es in Deutschland den gesetzlichen Mindeststundenlohn von derzeit 8,84 Euro. Alle zwei Jahre ist eine Erhöhung des Mindestlohns entsprechend der allgemeinen Lohnentwicklung vorgesehen. Die nächste Erhöhung steht somit am 1. Januar 2019 an. Im Sommer hat die Mindestlohnkommission eine Erhöhung um 0,35 Euro auf 9,19 Euro pro Stunde vorgeschlagen zusammen mit einer weiteren Erhöhung um 0,16 Euro für 2020 auf dann 9,35 Euro pro Stunde. Die Bundesregierung hat diese Vorschläge Ende Oktober per Verordnung umgesetzt, sodass der höhere Mindestlohn ab 2019 nun verbindlich bei 9,19 Euro pro Stunde liegt.
